Dear Ruth and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all but please remember how loved John was by everyone that he came in contact with him. John and I spent many nights together up North during the seasonal golf booking trips always laughing and telling the same stories over and over. I never tired of my time with John and I know that while he'll be missed, he will shortly be reunited with a number of good friends that have been waiting for him to tell some more of his jokes.

Truly sad to hear of John,s passing. I am away until mid week and unable to make the service but would like to say how much I enjoyed John when playing golf togrther over the years. He will be missed.
