It has taken some time for me to gather my thoughts with all that transpired around my Fathers passing. Elaine ... if you read this, THANK YOU for posting your memory. It was really nice to read it. I will miss both of my Parents for the rest of my days. I wish more than anything that both would have lived much longer. I am grateful that I was with both my Mom and Dad when they took their last breaths. Thank you Dad for all of your love and guidance, for all of your help with PAWS (in so many ways - too many to list) and for loving the animals so much. The bench I had made in your honor will remain facing my home for the rest of MY days and as you continue to watch over me and those I love and rescue. I will ONLY hold on to the fond memories now. I miss you (both) so much.

After reading Johns obituary so many memories came flooding back of good times with John and Hella (circa) 1963. I was engaged to Adolph and the four of us hung together, going to a cottage, boating, trips to Cleveland, drive -in movies and just driving around, no place in particular. Sorry for the loss of your parents, they were a loving couple and glad they were able to get married and have a happy life. Regards Elaine
