LANE, Mr. JOHN EDWARD June 13, 1936 - October 24, 2017 Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in his 82nd year. John Lane, beloved husband of the late Maud Lane (nee Cropper). Dear father of Linda Lane (Earle), Joe Lane (Nelly), Danny Lane (Vickie) and Kim Lane (Tony). Loving grandfather of Daniel (Shawna), Jacqueline (Adrian), Alexandria and Kristina and great-grandfather of Hadley and Hudson. Cherished brother of Ron (Barb), Frank (Erlean), Shirley (late Hugh) and Ruth (John) and predeceased by brothers Jim, Bill, Gary and sister Joan. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late John Lane will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Lori Campbell officiating.
