John Paul MESEC Sr.

MESEC SR., John Paul John Paul Mesec passed away suddenly at his home in Buckhorn, Ontario, on October 5, 2018. Treasured husband of 39 years to Vera (nee Novak). Cherished and dedicated father of John Mesec Jr. (Ashley) and Daniel Mesec (Genevieve). Loving grandfather to Mack and Sadie Mesec. Dear brother to Tony Mesec (Marika), Mark Mesec (Dora), Vera Balazic (Matija) and Roman Mesec (Joanne). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews in Canada and family in Slovenia. John was a dedicated family man and a devout Catholic. He was an inspiration to many for his positive outlook on life and outgoing character. He touched many lives through his committed community involvement, most notably in the Toronto Slovenian community and later with the Knights of Columbus in Brampton and Orillia. A machinist by trade for over forty years, who shared his expertise with many companies, as well as operating his own business. He will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him in life. Visitation will be held at RIDLEY FUNERAL HOME located at 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Toronto, Ontario M8V 1K3, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF MIRACULOUS MEDAL CATHOLIC CHURCH located at 739 Brown's Line, Toronto, Ontario M8W 3V7, on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are welcome to be made to the Knight's Table at: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/knights-table/
