JOHN DUNBAR "JACK" MILNE

JOHN "JACK" DUNBAR MILNE 88, died peacefully on March 15, 2017 in North York, ON, after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for several years. Jack was born on February 12, 1929 to William and Eveline Milne and was big brother to Robert C. Milne. He married Patricia Blackman in 1953 and became a loving father to three children. He was President of Maple Leaf Insurance; he was an avid gardener, a friend to all animals and a passionate "birder". He loved spending time at the cottage on Mississagua Lake, where countless happy hours were spent teaching his children and grandchildren about fishing, bird watching and wildflowers. Jack will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia; their children, Robert, Terry and Sandra; and his grandchildren, Danielle and Justin Olivier. We are very grateful to the caring staff in the SBU at Cummer Lodge; they were terrific! A service will be held on March 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
