Mr.Pipa, was an amazing auto shop teacher, always funny, and making it So easy to learn. I graduated in 1978, his lessons on auto repair, would later somehow translate into life lessons for me.
R.I.P. sir, condolences to the family.

So sad to hear of John's passing! My mom, Mary (Pipa) Smith told me John was my godfather. When she passed in March 2014, John made a point of calling me once or twice a year to make sure that I was okay!!! He had promised my mom that he would do that - what a guy!! I will miss those calls!!
We were in Ireland when John passed.
Our thoughts now of course go to Ann and all their family.

Anne and family: Words and tears cannot express the pain and sorrow I
feel for you in your grief.
Rudy Husar loved John like a brother. I also learned what a kind, thoughtful, generous and very funny man John was.
You and John were the best of couples. John will never be replaced and will be
very sadly missed. My sincerest sympathies. Mary David Lantzville B.C.

Sincerest condolences to Pipa family. May your cherished memories ease your pain at this difficult time. I have very fond memories of when Mr. & Mrs. Pipa gave our family two baby ducks to raise as pets. Our ducks returned to the wild at our cottage on Mary Lake, ever since there have been ducks on that lake!
God Bless
