STRATIGEAS, John - At St. Michael's Hospital, John passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 16, 2015. Loving husband of Alice. He was predeceased by his father George and survived by his mother Pota. He is cherished by his children Trish "Stratus" (Ron Fisico), Christie and Melissa; and will be missed by his grandchildren Wayne, Bailey and Maximus. The loving sibling rivalries shared by Fred (Jeanette), Katerini (the late Dr. Frank James), Aspasia (Antonios Tseronakis) and Helen will be cherished. "Uncle John" will be missed by George (Eleni, Calista and Athan), Jennifer (Tony Gigis, Zoe and Sam), Olivia, George James (Emily and Avery), Jason James (Taylor) and Stephen Tseronakis, as well as the rest of his big, fat, Greek family. John forged a 69-year trail of laughter and love and he leaves many appreciating him for introducing us all to the infamous Giovanni Macelli, a 39-year old man of Polkaroo-like status. Honourable mention to Squeezebox McCoy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. at St. John's Dixie Visitation Centre, 737 Dundas St. E., Mississauga, ON. Rite of Orthodox Funeral on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Greek Orthodox Church of The Prophet Elias, 1785 Matheson Blvd., Mississauaga, ON. Interment St. John's Dixie Cemetery.
