Dear Christine:
Our hearts go out to you and your family at this sad time. John was such a lovely boy. We fondly remember having John staying with us for a week while you and Bob were on a trip. Jonathan sends his condolences. May God comfort you. - Don and Lois

Johnny was a bright light in our lives. He was my husband’s best friend, my daughter’s godfather and a member of our family. We loved him very much and have countless happy memories with him and his contagious smile and his supportive personality. His absence will be felt deeply and always. A great loss in our lives and for anyone that had the privileged of knowing him.

John was very much like the man he was named after- my Dad. Both loved sports and adored their wives, mothers and families. That he was taken just as his life was coming together is incomprehensible. Deep condolences.

He was one of the most positive, charismatic, caring, motivating people I've ever known. I met him in early 2015 in one of his yoga classes and he became a valued friend immediately. He always lifted my mood, always made me laugh, and was so encouraging and supportive. I’ve never seen him as happy as I saw him the day he told me he’d just met his future wife and never wanted to be apart from her. What an incredible light John has left with everyone who knew him. I feel so lucky to have known him and I’m sending all my love to his family through your healing.
