To the Wardlaw family, Dick told me of the sad news.I have great memories of all the Wardlaw's - to the youngest of the Petrie's - you guys were so cool! Of course Golden Lake was the highlight of our summer - gallopping ping pong,David's Sea Flea and of course Mrs.Wardlaw always supplied the corn for the big Bon Fire. "My eyes are dim,I cannot see...." Mrs.Watson leading the sing song!Dick and Bert were buddies,he was the master of Trivial Pursuit. I'm sending lots of love to you all at this very sad time, our loved ones will always be in our thoughts and hearts.

As a young teacher, Jonathan was my voice of calm and reason when challenging classes threatened to stir up my redheaded spirits. Memories of his quiet sense of humour and genuine compassion have guided me in the years since he retired from Huron. We have kept a picture of him up on the bulletin board in the prep room, and taking a peak at it has a calming and inspirational effect when needed. The Science department truly will miss him. We are so sad at the loss of fine man.
