Joseph CARUSO Obituary

CARUSO, Joseph - Peacefully on April 19, 2012, Joe at age 79 passed away in Brampton. His devoted wife Betty Mae was at his side accompanied by their son Jelf Caruso and daughters Carolyn and her husband Brian Benson, Barbara Jo Caruso and her husband Frank Biamonte. Grandchildren Trevor, Scott, Melissa Caruso, Natalie Benson; Douglas, Allison, and Jessica Biamonte will miss their cherished "Grampie." One of ten children Joe is survived by two very dear sisters Maria Aceti of West Palm Beach and Frances Kelly of Woodstock. Joe was a loved brother-in-law of Sheila Bayliss, Catherine Cross-Blacklock and Don and Sandra Fosbury. To his many nieces and nephews he was a favorite uncle. Joe is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Tony, Enrico, Sam, and Len; his sisters Sal, Angie, Gerry; his beautiful daughter-in-law Janet Caruso; his infant grandchildren Joshua and Tori Biamonte. Joe was a proud life-long resident of Brampton who excelled in many sports. He is a member of the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The visitation and funeral service will take place at Meadowvale Cemetery and Visitation Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, L6Y 5L5, 905-451-3716. Visiting times will be Friday, April 27 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Funeral service, Sunday, April 29 will be held at 11:00 a.m. In memory contributions to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated, or to a charity of your choice.
