FLETCHER, Joseph Thomas - Passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Loving husband of Charmaine (nee Thorn). Dear father of Charlene (Ross), Bruce (Judy), Brian (Sylvia), Cheryl (Dave), Charmie (Mike), Cherrie (Murray). Cherished Papa of 19 and great-grandfather (Papa Joe) of 7. Brother of Noreen Jackman. Family will receive friends at the Scott Funeral Home - Georgian Chapel, 264 Burton Avenue, Barrie on Saturday, October 30 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Hello to Charlene, Ross, and extended family,

Our most sincere sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are extended to you, to your mother, and to your extended family. Mr. Fletcher always presented himself as an impressive and thoughtful man, and a person who I very much enjoyed meeting and talking to.

Charlene, if he was half the person throughout his life that you have been throughout yours, then he must have been really terrific!

We hope that you and the family can find some comfort in the knowledge that he is now at peace, and is freed from whatever physical discomfort which he may have had to endure.
