I was thinking about Joe today and what an impact he had on me as a young man. He let me make a few dollars pumping gas as a lad, then helped me build a couple of muscle cars always with a smile and positive words. I used to stop in whenever I was in Toronto. I was thinking it'd be great to drive in and take him to lunch and catch up. I'm so sad to find he passed. Far too young. My sincerest condolences to his family. Joe was one of the good ones. Rest Easy Joe.

Hello George Stonehouse and Maria and family wish to give our sympathy to Helen Rose and Christopher and Jonathan and your family. You were always nice to us our big family and I came to miss you all. I always looked forward to fireworks. We couldn´t share as we couldn´t afford it but between your family and Gerry and his wife Joan I think. It always was so much fun we have found memories living on Galley Ave. Thanks Joe

It was in the late seventies that my car and I limped into the Fina
station on the North Service Road in Mississauga and I met Joe Rose. For the next 40 years plus he kept our cars running. I doubt Joe had a customer he did not treat as a friend.
It was a privilege to know him.
Our sincerest condolences to his beloved and cherished family.

Our sincere condolences go to the family of Joe Rose. An honourable man with a keen sense of fairness, who treated everyone with kindness during all the many years we took our cars to him. Joe was like family to us. He carefully took the time to ask about how we were throughout the years because he truly cared. It´s such a colder world now that we can´t stop by the Beliva Road garage to share a laugh and always know Joe´s warm smile was waiting. Remembering Joe and every act of kindness he did for so many people will be easy. Accepting the loss of such an exceptional heart is not. But we our all the better for having had the privilege to know Joe.

Helen, Johnathan, Chris, my sincere and deepest condolences. Joe was like a second father to me. He took me in at 19 with no skill but he said he saw something. With open arms he showed me what it was to operate a business how to look after customers. He drove me to always look up and showed me that anything is possible. You were a great friend. I looked forward to our morning chats on the couch before work. I now have two boys like you. I have missed you for 15 years and will never forget your infectious smile and screaming laugh. Rest easy my friend. You have touched so many and I promise to never forget you. love you.

Helen, Chris and Jonathan. I am so sorry you have to go through losing Joe after all his health struggles. Joe was always good everyone he dealt with, didn´t matter if you were family, friends, employees or a customer...he treated you with respect and dignity.
I owe him for helping me get my mechanics licence and he taught me things that are not in any book. I will not forget all the years I spent at the shop by his side.
He always went above and beyond for me and his customers, he will be missed.
My Sincere Condolences.

Helen, Jonathon and Christopher I am so sorry for your loss. I always considered Joe to be a good friend from our years at Garden Ave School, coaching hockey with the Parkdale Flames and just visiting him at the garage.
Joe was a kind, gentle, sweet man that will be truly missed by his friends and neighbours.
Joe made the world a better, kinder place.
Regret that Linda and I will be unable to attend the memorial on Friday. Linda has a knee replacement surgery that morning.
Thinking of you all.
