Joe was a good man and he will be missed.
I knew of him and had not seen him since he moved away.
I do remember his house in Toronto. Bye Joe.

Sadie, Louie, Michael Bryant and Susan Abramovitch feel shocked and grateful. Joe and Sandy welcomed us into their lives about a decade ago, when I was their MPP. Joe was a mentor and family friend, through good times and not. We all feel very lucky for the time we had with Joe. Condolences and prayers to Sandy, Janis, Ken and Amy, plus all the grandkids.

My sincere condolences to Sandy, Janis, and Ken. I had the privilege of working for Joe at one of his oil companies for 18 wonderful years. He was a straight shooter and very well respected by myself. I learned a lot under his management. I am sure he will be missed not only by the family but by all who new this fabulous man. Rest in peace Joe.

Dear Sandy, Janis and Kenneth,
I am so very saddened and shocked to hear that the world has lost dear Joe. It doesn't seem possible. He was always a good, fair and honest man. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that the large mark he left on this world - allows him to leave it, a much better place. Hold on tight to each other, and allow his strength to be absorbed by each of you, as you need it. Bless him.

In 1948 and 1949, I had the pleasure of going to Balfour Manor Camp in Muskoka, run by the Gransofskys, where I shared wonderful summers with a cabin mate, Joe Rotman. We maintained a friendship for years, when Joe was at UWO in London, my home town, and occasionally when I was visiting Toronto.
It seems like yesterday. Goodbye my friend.

Dear Sandy and family. Carol and I are very saddened by your great loss. Having been friends of the both of you as we were growing up, and going to high school, each of you individually, and then both of you together as a team, were always warm and affable, and had a host of friends. The loss of Joe today is a shock, at an age when many of us are still around to grieve him. He will be missed by so many, but none will miss him as much as you and your immediate family. He was your rock of Gibraltar. You have our support and friendship always, and we grieve with you at the loss of a great friend and a warm and generous human being.
