JOSEPH MORTIMER SMITH At peace on October the 7th, 2008, in Picton, Ontario. He will be remembered by his best friend and loving wife of 25 years, Susan, and his close family, Carolyn, Ian, Douglas, Raizel and Deb. And to Madeleine, Christian, Nicky, Lucinda, Ella and Angus, he was the best Poppa in the world. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his siblings Todd, Christie, Diane and Lucy and his mother, Ruth. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Mortimer Smith. Joe will be remembered for his kindness, his wit and his kind heart; Joe's presence would invariably infuse a room with warmth and good cheer. We will all miss you, Joey, so much, so very, very much. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) on Tuesday, October 14 from 11 o'clock until the time of the service in the chapel at 1 o'clock.
