Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Joe personally, I know his spirit lives on in his community both locally and globally through Scouting. His work will continue to benefit many generations of youth in Ontario and beyond.

I was saddened to hear the news about Joe; as a scout executive,I learned a lot from Joe on how to be professional Scouter through his wise counsel and direction. He provided strong and consistent leadership during his long scouting career. I know he will be missed. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
