JOSEPH ZOPF Obituary

ZOPF, JOSEPH Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in his 64th year. Loving husband of Karen Zopf (nee Bauer). Proud father of Adam (Nataliya) and Ben (Mary). Survived by his brother, Perry (Karyn); and his sister-in-law, Rita. Dear uncle of Ian, Scott (Jen), Andrew and Keana. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nancy; his sister, Linda; and brother-in-law, Gregg. He will be sadly missed by so many wonderful friends. A Chapel Service followed by a Celebration of Life, will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations to PSP.org, would be greatly appreciated.

Great guy and the best Senior Man I could have hoped for at Old Hall 10 - 243. Always willing to help and teach us younger guys the ropes. Going to really miss my "lil buddy"!

I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Stn 235 for years, he was always a great guy to have on your crew. His depth of knowledge, his experience, and wicked sense of humour made any shift better. I was sorry to hear of his passing, he was truly a great man and will be sorely missed.
