My sincere condolences to Joyce's family. I am deeply saddened to learn of Joyce's passing. I was truly blessed to have met her through her work with The Concerned Kids where her passion and dedication to the children of Toronto was astounding. She inspired me with the energy and enthusiasm that she put into everything she did, and her devotion to enriching the lives of so many. Joyce will be dearly missed, but her light will shine forever in the countless lives she touched.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time. Many memories flooded the corners of my mind today and I smile as I reflect back to the time when the both of us travelled to Cancun, Mexico to celebrate her 50th birthday. She had such a zest for life. Joyce, you will be missed!
God needed another angel and He chose Joyce!
Sincerely,

My deepest sympathies to all the families of the late Joyce Attis. My fond memories of Joyce go back many decades in Moncton, Camp kadimah and in the cottage and beaches she loved. I know Joyce will be greatly missed by all.

Audrey, Irwin, and family, Kathy and Leah,
I know Joyce will be missed by all. She was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend to all with her soft heart and sharing her artistic talent with all. Most of all I remember how good she was to everyone. Her kindness and thoughfulness extended far beyond her family to families of Concerned kids and her "Pet Family", it's her good heart that I will remember always, she always took time out for those in need.

My heartfelt sympathy to Joyce's family. Joyce was a wonderful woman and a very caring individual. I fondly remember the times that I spent with her in Toronto when I was at university. She opened her home to me and it was wonderful to have her friendship. She was a very special person that will be greatly missed.

My memories of Joyce go back to Young Judaea in New Brunswick in the '60's--to Camp Kadimah as co-counsellors--to crossing paths in TO years ago when we lived in the same neighbourhood--
I never ever forgot Joyce's warmth and beautiful smile- and admired her belief in many vital causes.
So many of us share her family's sorrow. There is only one Joyce Attis.
The world needs more.

Our sincere condolences to Joyce's family. We both enjoyed being trained by and working with Joyce at The Concerned Kids. She was a true inspiration. She was a wonderful puppeteer, had a great sense of humour and a great love of children and the work that she was doing. She will definitely be missed.

Joyce was a remarkable woman who enhanced the lives of those she touched. Her legacy is great. We knew Joyce through her work with The Concerned Kids. She taught many people to be puppeteers and to carry the messages regarding Social Issues into the schools of Greater Toronto. She inspired people to do there best and her legacy will be the messages that those she taught took into the schools and passed onto so very many children. Joyce was a true advocate for any cause she took on and her efforts have affected the lives of many. She was a true educator who inspired others. She will be greatly missed. Condolences to her family and close friends. Joyce will be in the memories of many over the coming years.

Most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Joyce's family. I was shocked to learn of Joyce's passing. I knew Joyce most from her work at The Concerned Kids, a not-for-for-profit organization she founded and nurtured for so many years. Joyce will be sorely missed but her legacy will continue to touch people and her name will be uttered in tribute and respect.

My condolences are with Joyce's family. I recently visited Joyce in the hospital and her spirits were high and she had a smile on her face, always an optimist she was sure that she would be leaving the ICU. I was shocked to hear of her death and am deeply saddened to lose such a good friend. She will always be remembered as kind, generous and strong willed. All she ever wanted was to educate and influence young people and I'm sure that she achieved that goal in her life and practice as a teacher and educator, not to mention her uncanny ability make kids laugh and learn through her work as a puppeteer. I worked with Joyce for 10 years and we've been friends for 15 years. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
