Joyce Brocklehurst Obituary
JOYCE BERNICE BROCKLEHURST Passed away at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, on Thursday, September 29, 2011 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her brother Richard, sister Ann, and life companion Jack. Joyce is survived by her sister Connie Metcalfe, her nephew Gregg and his wife Flo, her nieces Janet, Linda, Jane, Judy, and nephew Scott, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She is retired from General Motors and has enjoyed many years of traveling with Gregg and Flo. As per Joyce's wish, cremation has taken place. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Military Institute, Toronto would be sincerely appreciated by the family. We just found out today when we tried to telephone Joyce to wish her a happy birthday. Joyce took many tours with us over a 15 year period and always rode in the front seat of our motorcoach. She was fun, helpful, rascally and a good friend. We will truly miss her. Bernie & Peggie Moore (Bracebridge)
