JOYCE ROURKE (1921 - 2013) Passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 2, 2013 at the age of 91, at Cairnsmore Place nursing home in Duncan, BC, formerly of Toronto and Quebec City and longtime employee of Sears Canada. Wife of Bruce Rourke (deceased). Mother of Barbara (deceased) (Tom Robinson) of Quebec City, Shirley (Anthony Champion) of Mississauga, son Gordon of Quebec City and Sandy (Paul Bernardy) of Duncan, BC. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Toronto. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. I met Joyce at Sears Canada back in 1977 and had the pleasure of working with her for many years. She had a great sense of humour, a wonderful smile and an infectious laugh. I'm sure the Heavenly Choir is one note sweeter today because of Joyce!
