JUNE HUNT Obituary

HUNT, JUNE Benetta It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mom, June Benetta Hunt (nee Jones), on March 18, 2022, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Hunt (July 11 2015). Loving mother to Nancy (Kris, deceased), Janice (Dale, deceased), and Judith. Cherished Grandma to Courtney, Aaron (Jill), and Thomas (Cheryl). Proud great-grandmother to Clarissa and Benjamin. Mom loved to sew and knit for her children and grandchildren, leaving many items to be cherished. Mom also spent more than 25 years volunteering at Trillium Hospital (Mississauga). Mom and Dad always made Christmas amazing for us and this has been passed down through the generations. Our special memories also include our Sunday picnic lunch under the birch tree, Mom's wonderful roast beef dinners on Sundays, and our annual trips to the CNE before going back to school. We love you dearly, Mom, and know you will always be with us. The family would like to thank the staff at The Villa Care Centre, Midland, for the compassionate care Mom received during her 4 years as a resident. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation will take place. Celebration of Life date to be arranged.

Auntie June was always so very Kind to me. Everytime I saw her she was always smiling and talking about the cottage we rented together when we were young. Lots of Great Times. Love you Auntie June. Love to Nancy, Jan, Judy, and Family. Rest in Peace Auntie June.

Auntie June was such a beautiful, caring lady. She was always so happy when I would see her or give her a call, she always made me feel welcome. I have many great memories of Auntie June and when I think of the times spent at the Hunt hoisehold I feel warmth in my heart. My love to Nancy, Jan, Judy & the entire family. Rest gently Auntie June. XOXO
