Elsie Fessenden-Trethewey
September 16, 2009
Elsie Fessenden-Trethewey one of June's good friends and part of the "Girl's Club" does not have a computer so Jan Trethewey-Thompson, her daughter, will respond on her behalf. Elsie did attend the service and the "girls" sat together and toasted June and all the wonderful memories they had together with her! As one of the children of the girls club I recall growing up how really fond of each other they truly were and how they all could out talk each other and still understand the topic of conversation during their outings together. It's not often one hears of high school gals at Malvern learning to dance in my Grandparent's basement at 55 Beech Avenue at age 15 still very much friends and still meeting up with each other after so many years. I know my Mom, Elsie, would be telling you June to meet up with the gals that have gone before you now in Heaven and keep the get togethers going...for ever and onward... and keep laughing and enjoying each other's company.
Sincere sympathy to the rest of the Tait and Lush family...

Our deepest condolences to the family on the loss of June Lush. As a child I remember so well those Sunday dinners at the Tait house on Wineva and she and her sister Dorothy keeping us kids entertained.
Rest in Peace.

We were so sorry to hear of the death of your mom Lindsay. We never had the chance to meet her sadly, Your various stories however painted a picture for us of a wonderful woman and mother. May June rest in peace.

For us, who married into her beautiful extended family, she will be remembered as a strong, kind, loving soul who always made us feel welcome and part of her life. I'll miss you June, but I'm smiling at the thought of you, Dorothy and May being reunited. Peace and love to you.

Treasured memories of good times past will never fade. I am biaised, but I truly believe the best thing you ever did was give birth to Linny - she was a rock to you, is a rock to her family and has always been a rock to me. For that, amongst the many gifts and laughter you sprinkled along your travels, I will be forever thankful. Schlaf gut.
