PENDERELL, JUNE (nee BLAGDON) June 1, 1943 - July 18, 2017 Passed away peacefully, with her loving family at her side, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington. Loving and beloved wife of Vic Penderell and cherished mother of Adrienne Penderell (Rob Stodulka) and Kirsten Penderell. Treasured grandmother of Owen, Jacob and Abby. Dear sister of Jeannette Blagdon-Knoll (late Jack) and the late Wendy White (David). June will also be missed by the extended Penderell and Stodulka families, numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. June is sure to be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, she had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She was deeply appreciative of all those who assisted and cared for her since her stroke in 2011. With the greatest courage, patience and perseverance, she relearned more than was thought possible; her recovery was nothing short of a miracle. She lived to know and love each one of her three grandchildren. Her family has savoured every borrowed day and had the luxury of loving and caring for her ever since. The one condolence since her peaceful passing is that she is now free of all disability and is reunited with her beloved Mum, Dad and sister and other dear relatives, with no doubt that they were there to embrace her when she went Home. The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the physicians and surgeons, nurses and staff of the Hamilton General Hospital, the Joseph Brant Hospital, for the exceptional care that June has received and the kind and gentle consideration that you showed to both her and her family during these past weeks. Private cremation has taken place. A Graveside Interment Service will be held for family and friends in the coming weeks. The specific date, time and location will be posted soon.
