June Perk Obituary
Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the age of 78 years old. Predeceased by her daughter Katherine. She will be lovingly missed by her sons, Michael (Elizabeth) and David. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Kevin, Robyn, Katrina and Erik. A Private Burial was held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

I was very sorry to hear about June's passing because it was most unexpected. I knew her through bridge at Port Union Community Centre & Momiji where she played on a regular basis. She was a very likable "lady" with a self-deprecating sense of humour. I called her "June Bug" because she was tiny & sweet. Her movement was restricted due to hip pain but I never heard her complain. June just seemed engaged in life & all that it could offer her. For instance, she was a big Elvis fan. Last summer she went to the Elvis Festival in Collingwood with her Maid of Honour & bridesmaids from her wedding over 50 years ago.June you have touched our lives. My

Good Morning. I played bridge with June at Momiji. We will miss June's quite smile and friendly manner. She never got ruffed if I bid or played wrong. We all enjoyed her company. We will miss her. Theresa McNulty-Jones.

Dear Family I only knew June for a short time through the Bridge Group at Momiji but she always had a smile a kind word and was interested in all that was happening with her fellow Bridge friends
I was so sorry to hear of her passing we will miss her and will not forget her .My sincere condolences may your memories of the good times you had with her bring you peace. And joy.

Fearing the worst that this notice refers to June Perk, beloved member of our bridge group, I am so sad to learn this ghastly news. June was a very sweet person with a wicked sense of humour. She was a trouper with a real 'can do' attitude. Lately it appeared she was struggling to move around easily, but she still turned up, looking as pretty as ever and never complaining. Again, I am so sorry for her loss. Please keep us informed about a memorial. RIP, dear June. We're all remembering you fondly! Mickey Mehal
