Kailey Crichton Obituary

KAILEY CRICHTON October 1, 1987 to May 16, 2009 Kailey Crichton, 21, in her adopted and much loved city of Montreal as a result of a traffic accident. The only child of Lynda and Bert Crichton of Toronto. You were a blessing to us and you made us very proud every day. A wonderful daughter, beautiful and gifted in so many ways. Intelligent, articulate and artistic. A talented writer and a lover of books, you were kindness itself and you amazed us with your fierce determination to overcome challenges that life gave you. We will miss your laughter, your kindness and your love of life and friends. Goodbye gentle heart. We will never be the same without you. Deeply missed by Granny, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends. Resting at the PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy), from 6-9 p.m. on Friday. Memorial Service on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Wexford Presbyterian Church (Lawrence, east of Pharmacy). Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mood Disorders of Ontario (www.mooddisorders.on.ca, 416- 486-8046 ext. 222, or 36 Eglinton Ave. W., no. 602, Toronto, Ont., M4R 1A1) would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sweet girl - 9 short years. Your leaving us has taught us, but left great loss. I try always to use your memory to better the lives of those in my daily work. Never far from my mind or heart.

Love you always. Sang and thought of you on my way to work today, cried a little, and smiled after some tears shed. Some days I work in your memory.

Dearest Lynda and Burt,

Words cannot express my sadness for you both. I know how proud you were of Kailey every day and that your love supported her all of her life. You have been the kindest and most thoughtful of parents and she was blessed to have had you light her path. Her tragic loss is incomprehensible. I wish you strength and love to carry on - for Kailey and all of us who love you.
