GALLAGHER, Karen Elizabeth - Suddenly at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in her 67th year. Beloved wife of the late John Gallagher. Loving mother of Steven Kinnari (Tracey). Cherished grandmother of Jessica and Christopher. Loved daughter of Ella Pellet (Ollie). Dear sister of Murray (Doreen) and predeceased by Derek (Betty-Anne). Friends may call at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Dr.) on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 12 p.m. until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Steve & Family: I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Betty-Anne called my yesterday from Switzerland and told me this sad news. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Steve, Tracey, Jessica and Christopher,
Our sincere sympathy in your loss. We can barely believe that Karen is gone. I keep picturing that special time in July 2008 when Jody took Karen from Newmarket to Stouffville to have a visit with Ella and Ollie. Jody drove her in our friend's little Mazda Miata with the top down and they were happy to be out together. They went out for lunch first and had wonderful one on one time.
No one can predict their future but we adored Karen. I will treasure the letter that she sent me just before I came to Switzerland.
