KATHLEEN McCOURT Obituary

KATHLEEN "KAY" McCOURT (nee BUTT) Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Gary (Donna), Brad (Shirley) and Kevin (Dorie). Cherished Nana of Aaron (Lisa), Meghan (Jamie), Shawna (Brian), Kellie (Mike), Thomas (Samantha) and Eric. Step-Gran of Damon (Jenn) and Blair (Ginnette). Doting Great- Nan of Rune, Rachel, Ava, Tessa, Coen, Benjamin, Ella and Raegan. Honorary Great-Nan of Sadie and Blake. Survived by brother Ron (Beverly). Predeceased by siblings Peggy, George and Frank. Special thanks to the caring staff at Providence Health Care, Retirement Suites by the Lake, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd. (416-267-4656), on Tuesday, March 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Paul's United Church, 200 McIntosh St., on Wednesday, March 2nd at 1 p.m. Interment following the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kay to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.mcdbrownscarb.ca

I have many fond memories of Kay, Frank and the boys growing up in the 60s. Many enjoyable summers were spent at little Lake in Midland. My condolences to Brad,Gary,Kevin and their families.
