Keith MOLES Obituary

MOLES, Keith - Passed away August 8, 2012 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his mother Reta Moles and Capt. Wm. J. Moles, step-brothers Jack and Elmer Moles. Keith was a longtime employee of Canadian Pacific Railway as well as a proud alumnus of the University of Toronto. He generously established the May Guscott Award Fund providing assistance to students in the Physical Education and Health program. As a passionate historian, he spent much of his retirement at U of T's Hart House Library and was involved with the theatre program. Keith's distinctive personality assured that he was remembered by all who met him. He will be sadly missed by family: Patricia Tiffin (Russell), Jennifer, Mark, John Guscott (Heather), Kristen and Lindsay. In appreciation of the compassionate care provided by the Toronto Western Hospital ICU Team and the 8A team of doctors and support staff, donations in Keith's honour can be made to TWH. The family will receive friends at Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto on August 16, 2012. Visitation at 10 a.m. with service to follow and interment of his ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

As one of Mr. Moles' nurses for the last several years, I was treated to great intellectual conversations. He was always kind to me and encouraged me to go back to school for my degree. RIP now Keith.
