We have very happy memories of Ken, our Uncle and Great Uncle, on his visits to the UK.
We will always remember his gentle manner, sense of humour and how fascinated our 2 small children were with him on your last visit here!
Sending all our love to Janet, Chris Frances and their families.

We are sending our thoughts to Janet and the family particularly at this time.
Ken was David's uncle and great uncle to our children Laura and Ian. We were only able to meet on a few occasions both here at our home in the UK and in Toronto, where we were made welcome and met our Canadian family. Ken and David shared an interest in engineering and unknown to both of us followed similar career paths in power generation. In recent years, Ken was able to share with us recollections of life in Newcastle and contributed much to our knowledge of Bramble family history.
Sending our love to you all.

Our memory of Ken
Ken was uncle to me and my brother Geoff but we were brought in together as brother and sister.
We had a group of friends that we cycled with by the river in Northumberland and went camping old fashioned style in tents with camp fires and billy cans.
When Ken moved south and met Janet and her family I was honoured to be bridesmaid at their wedding.
Although we then lived thousand of miles apart, I always felt very close and we telephoned and emailed. We stayed with them in Canada a few times and when they visited the UK they stayed with us.
We will miss him very much.
Ken we will love you forever x

We have fond memories of my uncle, Ken, on his visits to the UK, especially in the last 10 years or so, and particularly for my mum's 70th birthday. Here all the Boxall sisters with Uncle Ken in 2012. You could not hope to to have met a kinder, gentler man, whose sharp wit kept us smiling. Our love to Janet, and the family. Only sorry we can't be with you for the memorial service, but will be joining remotely and in spirit. Gold bless. All our love.

We remember fondly seeing my uncle, Ken, on several visits to the UK, particularly for my mum's 70th birthday celebrations. A kind, gentle, loving man whose wicked humour made us smile. Only sorry we won't be able to attend the memorial in person, but will remotely and in spirit.
Our love always, Peter and Pagan, Leytonstone, London UK, 20.04.2022

My Dad was a good man with a sharp wit. His values and ethics made him a strong-willed champion for what he believed in. Outwardly shy, his direct manner had no pretense. He cared with deeds, using his talents and skills to help others. In his shirt pocket, he always carried a pencil, a pen and a little notebook - perfect for spontaneous note-taking and problem-solving. His car trunk was filled with toolboxes, ready to come to the rescue. For decades, my Dad worked behind the scenes at Erindale Presbyterian Church doing everything from fine carpentry and repairs, to driving elderly members to appointments. He had a great passion for music and was a 30-year member of the Mississauga Choral Society. In his retirement years, my parents enjoyed their peaceful cottage, traveling to Europe and countries like China and India, as well as several visits back to the UK to see family. In late February 2022, my Dad bravely faced a diagnosis of advanced pancreatic cancer. He lived his final weeks on his own terms, with dignity and gratitude at home where he wanted to be.

I have nothing but good memories working with Ken at OPG for many years. I remember his sense of humour and I remember him as a friend, a gentleman, a great workplace colleague. My sincere condolences to Ken´s family.

Ken was a great guy and engineer, and was nice to deal with in our work within the Power Equipment Department.
It was an honour to have such talented colleagues in our midst and it meant OPG achieved a great deal over the years as a result.
Although not done so since the pandemic the PED members have tried to keep in contact at Xmas lunches.
My condolences and take care
