Kenneth Hagerman Obituary
HAGERMAN, Kenneth Wray December 10, 1919 - March 20, 2008 Passed away peacefully in the loving company of family at Trillium Hospital on Thursday, March 20, 2008. Beloved husband of Doris Mae Pierson 1919-1997 and Artie Mae Sanderson 1915-2006. He felt very fortunate to have found love twice in his life. Predeceased by son-in-law Theodore Soyka. Survived by brother Robert and Marjorie Hagerman; children Roselee Soyka, Kenneth and Sheryl Hagerman, Gordon and Cheryl Sellers, Richard and Ricky Hagerman; grandchildren David and Megan Soyka, Steven and Serena Hagerman, April and Chris Graham and Eric Sellers and Everett Sellers; great- grandchildren Jackson Soyka, Sage and Sean Hagerman and Alexis and James Graham, and many nieces and nephews and their children. Wray was born in Norfolk County, Ontario and earned his teachers certificate in 1939 and later his B.A., B.Ed. and M.Ed. He was a teacher and principal from 1939 to 1961 and Master of Educational Psychology 1961 to 1971 and head of Psychology at Lakeshore Teachers College from 1971 to 1975. From 1976 to 1990 he was court clerk and Registrar for the Ontario Supreme Court. Wray was a member of the Masons at University Lodge No. 496 and went through the chairs to Worshipful Master. Wray never fully retired as even when living in Cawthra Gardens Retirement Home he kept busy by being president of the Residents Council and helping staff with English on courses they were taking. A private cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at Applewood United Church (2067 Stanfield Road, Mississauga, Ontario) at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27th.
