KENNETH MOSSOP Obituary

MOSSOP, KENNETH CAMERON June 3, 1951 - March 7, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce that Ken passed away with his loving family by his side. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Jill; his children, Jeff (Dana), Dawn (Blair), and Kelly (Alex). Ken cherished his grandchildren: Harrison, Sam, Arden, and Ava. He is survived by his brothers, Jim and John. Ken battled cancer for 18 years with courage and a positive attitude. He fought for every moment and in the end he lived for many more years than his disease had planned for him. Ken was a man who lived life to the fullest, whose first priority was his family. His zest for life was an inspiration. His unlimited energy, humour, and enthusiasm are what we will miss most. He was a natural salesman who had a passion for his work. Ken took pride in being first on the golf course, his dogs, and his perfectly maintained lawn and pool. He enjoyed cottages, bird watching, and long drives in his Miata. We would like to express our gratitude to the medical staff who cared for Ken, as well as to the many friends and neighbours who offered their support. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held on March 26th, at Spring Lakes Golf Club in Stouffville, from 2-5 p.m.

Kenny Mossop....sorry to hear of your husband, dad and grandfather. Kenny as I always called him lived across the road from my family on Leacrest Rd. We were in the same classes for many years. He was a real character in those days and I can see that he never stopped being that guy next door on Leacrest Rd.
I send my sincere sympathy to the entire family. Lynda Robertson

Mrs. Mossop and Family, my husband and I are heartbroken to hear of Ken's passing. We were clients of Ken's for approximately 20 years. He was like our second father always giving us advise and making sure our purchases made sense. He was a joy to deal with and we LOVED his awesome, albeit quirky, sense of humor! We will miss him, his guidance and his words of wisdom. We are better people for having known him. May you all find comfort in the memories you'll forever hold in your hearts. God speed Ken and may you Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Ken on and off for the past 13 years and knew whenever anyone needed a laugh, Ken was more than willing to contribute his humour. He will always be an inspiration to those who had the pleasure to know him.
