Kenneth Pye Obituary

KENNETH PYE June 13, 1917 - January 16, 2010 After a lengthy battle with cancer, Ken passed away at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Bette. Loving father to Doug and his wife Caroline and to the late Linda Pye. Dearly loved step-father to Karren and Rosanna. Cherished Papa to Michael, Jeffrey, Christopher, Ryan, Trevor and Darren. Ken was an engineer with the CNR until retirement 28 years ago. He had a great, long, healthy life. He was a positive, loving person to his family and to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. The family wish to extend their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Hudson and the Palliative Care nurses at Credit Valley Hospital. Also to Dr. Short and Dr. Fine for the excellent care through the years. In accordance with Ken's wishes, cremation has already taken place. If desired, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Credit Valley Hospital would be appreciated.

Dear Bette and family,
I was saddened to read about Ken's death & the obvious suffering he must have endured. What a lovely picture this is of him - he was a very handsome man. If you remember, we had a nice chat at Marjorie Forsyth's funeral a few years ago - I used to live next door to Marjorie and Al.
