REV. KENT DOUGLAS JAMES GARRETT Born in Montreal on March 31, 1937, passed away peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock, with his family by his side on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Comrie) Garrett since 1988. Loving father of Kimberley (Irwin) Garrett-Elman, Kathryn Garrett, Nancy Garrett, Tyler (Trish) Hart, Bradley Hart and Christine (Sean) Gannon. Caring grandfather of Aidan, Ashley, Kyle, Jadon, Kaitlyn, Jonay and Tanner. Friends are invited to St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Avenue, Woodstock, on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 12-2 p.m., where the Celebration of Kent's Life will be held in the sanctuary at 2 p.m. In lieu of floral tributes, the family would favour memorial contributions to VON Sakura House and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
