KEVIN GARDNER Obituary

KEVIN ALLAN GARDNER Passed away peacefully at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on October 3, 2016 at the age of 59 years old. Kevin is lovingly remembered by his son Landon, his mother Carol, his two sisters Shawna and Danna, his brother Darren, and his two nieces Starr and Skyye. Kevin was a lifelong entrepreneur, fitness and health-nut. Having begun teaching tennis at a young age and later taking on real estate. Kevin was always one to rise to a challenge, he would create a new idea and go after it - be it successful or not, he was in for the long haul. Kevin was a pilot, a scuba instructor, a real estate agent, a lover of travel and health food. He will be remembered as a testament to the entrepreneurial hustle, you could always find him in a coffee shop and he was always on the grind with some newly concocted idea and angle to win in business and life! As Kevin's cancer progressed, he was just launching a new program for kids involving rhythm and tennis with the Calgary schoolboard. Kevin's smile, laughter and happy-go-lucky attitude will be dearly missed by close family and friends. All friends and family are invited to a celebration of life for Kevin on Friday, October 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Scarboro Golf and Country Club, 321 Scarborough Golf Club Rd., Toronto, ON. Dress code is in effect. Memorial donations may be made in Kevin's name directly to KidSports, Jumpstart or the Ontario Tennis Association Tennis Matters program.

I met Kevin in Panama and lived with him for about 4 years. We had a nice relationship and I have good memories with him. Also with his sweet dog, Champ. We would walk with him in the forest for hours deep in the night and he told me a lot about his son Landon. You could tell he was proud of his son. Also my daughter and I learned tennis and golf from him. We spent a lot of time together. Thanks to him I also learned a lot about business in crazy Panama. Rest in peace. I knew Kevin only briefly when I fostered his lovely dog Champ for a few months. He was a nice man - interesting to talk to
and he loved Champ. I will always remember them both.
Belated condolences to Kevin's family. Elizabeth Mayfield, Edmonton, Alberta.

Hi Landon
Jack ran JCR Boating at Cleveland's house and Paignton House during the time that Kevin was tennis pro there, so we were contemporaries.
I also worked with Kevin and Linda Smith for a short time.
Fun memories!
