Kirsten Thompson Obituary
thompson, Kirsten Flagstad (nee Eriksen)- Crossed over in her home in Oslo, Norway on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in her 65th year. Kirsten's desire for life was surrendered to lung cancer after a one year battle. Kirsten leaves behind her very loving and beautiful daughter, Dina, her precious granddaughter Stella, and Dina's loving spouse Hans Christoffer Aargaard Terjesen. She also leaves behind her spouse of 18 years Per-Arne Hjerpseth as well as other family relatives. She is also survived by her former husband Orval D. Thompson. Many of you will remember Kirsten as the attractive, smiling and courteous blonde Norwegian, who was the best server of food and drink at Korenowski's on Hayden Street throughout the 1970s. A funeral service, followed by cremation, will take place at Vestre Gravlund, the new chapel, in Oslo on February 4, 2011. Donations in Kirsten's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
