WARD, LAWRENCE VERNON June 18, 1929 – October 7, 2022 Sadly, we announce the death of Lawrence (Larry) Ward. He was born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick and was the son of the late William Ward and Elizabeth Ward (Stiles). He will be sadly missed by: his wife, Shirley Ward (Bulmer); his children, Kathy Whitley (Robert), Keith Ward, Craig Barton (Trudy), Jeff Barton (Linda), Kristene Slezak; his grandchildren, David, Austin, Christopher, Emily, Thomas, Breanna, Alexander and Keira; his siblings, Millie Kelessi (late Peter), David Ward (late Leta) and Gary Ward (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Murrell and Jeannine Ward. He is lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Doris England (Laurie) of Toronto, ON; Joan Murrel of Toronto, ON; Ruth Steeves (Jack) of Hillsborough, NB; and John Ward of Moncton, NB. After retiring from Continental Can in Toronto, Lawrence returned to his roots in New Brunswick to enjoy his love for fishing and hunting, long walks, blueberry picking and would seldom turn down a game of crib. Service will be on held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton, NB (858-1995). Reception to follow.
