LESLIE ANNE EDWARDS

EDWARDS, LESLIE ANNE Leslie passed away on April 25, 2023, in her 75th year, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with her brother and nephew at her side. Leslie is survived by her brother, Terry (Sandra); nephew, Chris; niece, Nicole Murphy (Ryan); and great-nephews, Flynn and Sawyer Murphy. Forever remembered by her lifelong best friend, Linda Macken. She is also lovingly remembered by her extended family, Murray, Marni, Matheu, and Marissa Macken; Shane, Tina, Gavin, Colin and Hailie Macken; as well as Paul and Diane McCourt. Leslie was predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret Edwards; brother, Larry; as well as her Aunt Florence Stewart. Leslie was a fun-loving soul who loved spending time at her cottage with her friends and family. She had the most lovely and infectious laugh, and had a great sense of humour. She cared deeply for the people around her. Leslie will be forever missed by her family and the many friends who loved her. Visitation services will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough), on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, starting at 10 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
