FONTAINE, Leslie Frederick Leslie Frederick Fontaine (the original Hipster) passed surrounded by family at Sunnybrook Veterans Retirement Home, Toronto, Friday, July 27th in his 93rd year. He will be fondly remembered as an inventor, woodworker, genius, collector and proud Canadian. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years Jacqueline, loving daughters Susan (Robert Lawson) and Lynn (Michael Yates), his grandchildren Brendan (Julie), Leslie and Andrew. His last 9 years were spent at Sunnybrook Veterans care, special thanks to Annalise, Lira, Leti and Espy. A memorial will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., Thursday, August 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. As a tribute to Leslie, please join us in singing the National Anthem at 7:30 p.m.
