She was my grade 6 French teacher. I am so thankful to have had such a kind and caring teacher. I still think about her almost 10 years later because of how great she was. May she rest in peace.

Madame Ruggles was my french teacher in grade 7. Now Im 21 and speak 5 different languages fluently because of how much she inspired me. I still periodically think of her because of the huge impact she had in my life. To the family, I want you to know she touched many hearts and after almost 7 years, although she is no longer with us, but her legacy stays alive. Very grateful to have met her in my lifetime and will never forget her. "Bonjour mes mignonnes" she would always say, which means "hello my cuties". Reposez en paix

Ms Ruggles was also my grade 7 french teacher. Im proud to say she was one of the most impacting teachers I have ever had and an honest reason that made me fall in love with french and for me to continue taking it throughout high school. She made learning fun and had a lot of enthusiasm with teaching. Hearing of her death was terrible news for me and my peers and I send condolences to the family and friends.

Madame Ruggles my french teacher in grade 7, she taught me so many wonderful life lessons and how to have an overall positive outlook on life. She once told me to cherish the family I have right now and to always look forward to the future and that I have great potential ahead of me. I'm proud to say that 4 years later with myself now being in grade 11, her words will stay with me forever. I heard of her passing last year but could have never brought myself to write something. I'm deeply sorry for her families loss and I give my great condolences.

Leslie was a true gem and I have so many vivid memories with her. It all started at UofT and flourished into a 15 year friendship. I will never forget sitting in those crazy Semiotics lectures and laughing hysterically. Remaining friends throughout many milestone moments and then later, working in the same school board. We have pondered life over many meals and walks. I too, will hold these memories close to my heart. Leslie was an amazing listener and friend to me. I will think of you often. With each passing day, I hope that the Ruggles family will find peace.

I wish had the right words to say for your loss. Leslie was taken from this world too soon. Your family is in my thoughts. Leslie covered my position when I was on a leave from Glad Park. We were all so appreciative of her hard work and her connection with our students at Glad Park Public School.

To the Ruggles Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Leslie's passing. We were part of a group of friends at Woburn who were inseparable in Grade 10 - me, Leslie, Bree, Kim and Joanelle. Leslie was always laughing, the most fashionable of us all and she always ensured everyone felt welcome. From the May long weekend at the Wasaga cottage to the weekends at her house, I have kept these memories close to my heart after all these years. She will always be remembered and will be greatly missed.
My condolences to your family and all those who knew and loved her.
Sincerely,
Vanessa Watt
