WALMER, Mr. Leslie Kenneth - Retired Staff Sgt., Metro Toronto Police and Petty Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy Peacefully in his 90th year at the Harold and Grace Baker Centre, Toronto on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Leslie, beloved husband of Mary Eleanor. Loving father of Linda (Mrs. Bill Wilson) and Karen (Mrs. Pep Grossi) Dear grandfather of Jeff (Shannon), Andrew (Erika), Amanda and Michael. Also survived by his sister Inez and sister-in-law Myrtle and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, 416-241-4618, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. A private interment service to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
