LOIS ROBERTS Obituary

ROBERTS, LOIS MADELINE At Southlake Hospital, Newmarket, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in her 94th year. Lois (nee Sherman), beloved wife of the late Murray Roberts. Dear mother of David Roberts (Peggy) and Deborah (James Rushton). Loving grandmother to Kevin Roberts (Tiffany), Brad Roberts (Niki), Michael Rushton (Kristy) and Christina Rushton (Dharmesh). Great-grandmother of Nathan, Cole, Tyler, Nolan and Henderson. Dear sister of Mona, Joyce, Doug, Anne; and predeceased by Elizabeth. Lois was a lifetime member of the Unionville Curling Club and a past President of the Ladies Section. Friends and family will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North, Markham, on Tuesday, December 27th, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. As per Lois' request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a Charity of Your Choice, would be appreciated.

Auntie Lois, though we never saw each other too often, you will be very sorely missed by me. I wish that I had been able to come and visit you in your last years but my past and current circumstances prevented me from being able to and it will be one of my biggest regrets. I feel your loss very deeply but I know that Debbie and Dave feel your loss tremendousl I will be praying to my goddess that she guide and protect you on your journey to rejoin Uncle Murray, Uncle Ken, Auntie Dot, Auntie Marj, Uncle Johny. , Auntie Phyl, Uncle Vic, Grandma and Grandpa, Auntie Joyce, Uncle Harold (Buster) and my mum.
