Lorraine Marilyn VAN RIET

VAN RIET, Lorraine Marilyn (née Fisher) - 81, of North Vancouver, BC, died Sunday, January 4, 2015. She was born to the late Lester and Sarah Fisher, June 23, 1933 in Toronto, ON. Lorraine graduated from East York Collegiate Institute in 1952 and received her BA from York University - Glendon campus in 1967. She was one of the founding members of the Stop Spadina movement in 1969 - 71 and was a co-founder of the Canadian Junior College. Lorraine is survived by children: Basil, Gregory, Elise and Christopher Van Riet. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
