LOUIS SCHULTZ Obituary

SCHULTZ, LOUIS ANTHONY June 10, 1927 - May 22, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louis Anthony Schultz, at King City Lodge…just 19 days short of his 95th birthday. Louis was born in Jakši?, Croatia, on June 10, 1927…under a tree. It's not actually true, as it was his mother who was born under a tree, but he enjoyed telling people that. Louis was a man who lived life to the fullest, a man to whom laughter was always the best medicine. He often said he always wanted to be a comedian, but people just laughed at him. He once remarked that he had a good life, was very satisfied with his life, and if he should die tomorrow, well…he could live with that. Louis is survived by his wife of 19 years, Helen; sister, Helen Jagodic (Walter predeceased); brother, Jerry Schultz (Jenny); and predeceased by brother, George Schultz. Father to daughter, Susan Wilby and sons, Ken Schultz (Sheila) and Don Schultz (Gail), stepdaughters, Mary Walsh (Jerry) and Janie O'Brien (Al predeceased); and predeceased by stepson, Brian Mouldey. Louis was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Melissa, Kevin and Samantha Schultz, Michael and Mark Eels, Lacey and Laura Walsh, Corey and Shane O'Brien; and 6 great-grandchildren: Liam and Madden Eels, Leona Walsh, Carter, Lennox and Holly O'Brien. Also grieving our loss are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at King City Lodge for taking such good care of Louis. A Celebration of Louis' Life will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m., at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston, ON. www.thomasfuneralhome.ca

When i come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little, but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the that once we shared
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
Its all part of the master plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know
Laugh at all the things we used to do
Miss me, but let me go.
