LUCIA GOMES After a courageous battle with breast cancer on October 9, 2010 at Credit Valley Hospital with her loving husband Trevor (Wright) by her side. Loving mother to Althea. Cherished daughter of Elaine. Beloved sister of Ignatious, Anthony, Albert, Alfred, Veronica and Ursula. Forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extend family. Friends and relatives will be received at Meadowvale Visitation Center - 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton (North of 407, South of Steeles) 905-451-3716, on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Meadowvale Visitation Centre in Meadowhall on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation c/o The Carlo Fidani Cancer Centre. The Family would like to thank those who gave support, love and care to Lucia throughout her battle. Lucia always gave selflessly and showed immense kindness to everyone she meet and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at...rest.
