VOLPE, Luciano - It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Luciano on Monday, November 29, 2010 at home. Dearly beloved husband of the late Maria. Devoted and loving father of Rocco (Paula) and Anna Maria (Leo). Cherished Nonno to Samantha, Alexander, Nicholas, Anthony, Sabrina, Adrian, Juliana and Christian. Luciano is predeceased by his brothers and sisters and their spouses; Leonardo (Carmela), Giovanni (Lucia), Felicetta (Pepe), Antonietta (Fidele). Dear brother- in-law of Giuseppina, Teresa, Rose, the late Paolina and Paul. Luciano will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family and close friends. Luciano will be missed by his colleagues Luigi and Gabriele of 45 years at The Underground Barber Shop, North York. Family and friends may call at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME - MARKHAM CHAPEL, 10 Cachet Woods Court (northeast corner of 16th Avenue and Highway 404, 905-887-8600), on Wednesday, December 1st from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 2nd at 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (5633 Highway 7, East). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (Bayview Avenue and Langstaff Road Entrance). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
