MUTI, LUISA It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Luisa Muti. Reunited with her husband, Ercole. Devoted mother to Pina (the late Mario), Leonardo (Maria), Francesco and Nello (Francesca). Adoring nonna to Patrizia (Franco), Antonella (Carlo), Rocco, Anna (Daniel), Elisa (Peter), Paolo (Paluck), Riccardo (Lindsay) and Daniela (Jay). Loving bisnonna to Gianfranco, Daniel, Giulia, Sofia, Alaina, Matthew, Jack, Isabella, Delilah, Lucia and Enzo. Luisa was born to Leonardo and Teresa in Aprigliano, Cosenza, Italy, on April 9, 1928. Dear sister of Concettina, Renato and the late Francesco, Mario, Alfredo, and Anna. Luisa and Ercole married on August 4, 1947 and immigrated to Canada in 1962. Luisa dedicated her life to family and left us a rich legacy. She supported them in their dreams, taught them proper values, emphasizing to love and respect each other. She was a remarkable and amazing mother and we are blessed to have shared her precious time here on earth. Our grief over losing Luisa is infinite, and our loving memory of her will always remain in our hearts. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge), on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Roch's Church (2889 Islington Avenue, North York), on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. We would like to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice Vaughan for the exceptional care our mother received during her time there. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Vaughan are requested.
