CHARLES, Mable (Baboo) - Suddenly on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Centenary Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved mother of Germaine Rabess (Gifford), Connie Alleyne (Ossie), Nettie Charles-Owen (Robert), Tony Charles (Tara), Bobby Charles (Tessa). Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lucille and George Riley, Augustus John and Marie Winston. Loving Granny of Melissa, Leigh-Ann, Gary, Curvan, Gillian, Chris, Darnelle, Damon, Dawndrae, Maya, Quincy, William, Jhamil, Jordan, Omari, and Calea. She will be especially missed by her many nieces and nephews, including Lorraine Dorival, Deborah Gage, and Jennifer White, her loss will be felt by all those who knew her both here and in Dominica. The family will receive friends at the OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Friday from 5 - 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 265 Alton Towers (McCowan Rd. south of Steeles) Scarborough. Interment to follow. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to The Parkinson Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
