MAGDELENA MUELLER Obituary

MAGDELENA JOSEPHINE "SOPHIE" MUELLER Passed away peacefully holding the hand of her constant caregiver and devoted daughter-in-law Nancy Hodgson-Mueller at Malton Village Long Term Care on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Born August 27, 1916 in Freidorf the Republica Socialista Romania. One of five children, Sophie (Bittner) immigrated, on her own, to Canada at the age of 16, marrying John Mueller (deceased) in 1933. Lovingly remembered by sons Steven (Nancy) and John (Helen deceased). Cherished Oma of Paul and April Mueller-Wray (Danny). Fondly thought of by grandsons Richard (Nancy), Mark and Michael and granddaughter Lynda Nicholson. Loved by great-granddaughters Abbey and Sarah. Sister of Elizabeth Jean, Peter and Nicholas Bittner (all deceased). Sophie was a devoted member of St. Patrick's Church (German Congregation) and Nativity of Our Lord Parish. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 480 Rathburn Rd., Etobicoke, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
