Maged Daoud Obituary

DAOUD, Maged —

70, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Maged was born in Egypt May 10, 1946 and was the beloved son of the late Abdel-Malak Daoud and Alice Daoud and uncle of the late Nadine Daoud. Maged spent many years working at the Federal Government until his retirement. Maged is survived by his siblings Wasfi Daoud and his wife Mervet, Soheir Gharghouri and her husband Pierre, Raef Daoud and his wife Beverley, his niece and nephews Joanne Bergens and her husband Steve, Michael Gharghouri and his wife Rosaura, Frederic Daoud and his wife Nadia, his great-nieces and nephews Stephanie, Christopher, Mark, Eric, Lily and Ruby. Maged will be remembered fondly by all of his cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20th from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 21st from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation.
