I knew Maggie when she was visiting the Hotel where i worked in , in Malta Europe. She was a fantastic lady, always full of praise and kind words. We kept in contact through writing and later on via e mails. Her Birthday cards and Christmas cards where always on time...and she always made sure that they arrived on the day. When i passed through a very bad car accident some years back, her letters and her support gave me strenght.
Maggie....this year your Christmas card was missed, but im sure you will be watching over us all from heaven.
You are a Lady to be remembered.
Sorely missed.

My Dear Maggie. I am so sad that you have left us and it was a privilege to have called you my friend. I still laugh to myself when remembering your stories of the north of England in Scarborough where you danced all night. I loved hearing about all your travels and we were like two peas in a pod when it came to traveling we both loved it. Now you will be able to visit all the places you didn't get to and first class at that my friend. What a great lady you were and maybe one day I might be able to meet your daughter who you told me so much about and that dog you used to send gifties to nearly every month. Rest now Miss Maggie you certainly left your mark on so many people. Always, your friend Carole Herbert. Stittsville Ontario.......
