MARGUERITE BRADLEY Obituary
MARGUERITE "PEGGY" BRADLEY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Peggy Bradley (nee Reeve), on February 6, 2014 at Scarborough General Hospital, after suffering heart problems and related overwhelming complications. Born in Chatham, Ontario in 1920, Peggy was raised in the Beach area of Toronto, which she truly enjoyed and spoke fondly of the many good memories from that time in her life. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Leo Bradley. They met as teenagers at the Beach, married when Leo joined the RCAF, and travelled to several Air Force bases in Eastern Canada during WWII, eventually returning to Toronto and raising their young family in the Scarborough East and Rouge Valley areas. Peggy is survived by her four children, Ron (Lisbeth), Suzanne, Bob (Lynne), Nancy, and brother- in-law Ron (Violet), grandsons Lee, Shawn, Robin, and eight nieces and nephews in Canada and the UK. Predeceased by brother Jack Reeve, and sister- in-law Margaret. Mom was a very gracious, kind and loving person, with a lively sense of humour and enjoyed a natural talent for great cooking and baking, which she missed doing in her later years. We are so very fortunate to have had such a caring and gentle spirit as a mother and role model in our lives. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Cremation and burial Pine Hills, Scarborough. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held by the family at a later date.
